Responsibilities


What you'll do...

  • Investigate operations with repeating torque issues
  • Torque control and joint reliability coordination
  • Handling and control of power tools in plant
  • Power tool procurement and evaluations
  • Power tool repair
  • Power tool and multiple installations
  • Torque Integrity Assurance Program including TPPS (VOPFAG 241)
  • Initiate better power tool methods.

 

 



Qualifications

You'll have...

  • A minimum of 3 Years Ford vehicle assembly plant floor experience.

  • Candidate must have team leadership skills and be capable of self-directed project management.

  • BSE required. Technical experience in fasteners and joints is highly desirable. 

  • Fundamental knowledge of hand held power tools and vehicle assembly tooling i.e. multi-spindle fastener secure and blind rivet stations. 

  • Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent leadership and decision making skills including supervision of hourly personnel. 

  • Excellent computer skills WERS, MEARS, PCPAS, CPARS, and MS Office applications.

  • Concern resolution skills executing the following: leading interim containment, defining and verifying root cause, implement and validate permanent corrective actions and prevent recurrence of fastening related concerns. 

  • Distinct desire to accept a challenging position within a manufacturing environment.

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
