Qualifications and requirements

This supervisory position in facilities management plays a critical role in the day to day operations of hospital infrastructure. As the assistant to the Director of Facilities Management, this position serves as a frontline leader sharing responsibility for ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficiently operating physical environment across our main hospital and outlying clinics. This encompasses more than 800,000 sqft of building space on a total of over 50 acres of property. The ideal candidate is a highly organized hands-on professional with a proactive mindset, strong leadership skills, and a great mechanical aptitude.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred\: Trade, vocational, military, or college training in facilities management
  • Five (5) years of facilities experience, with two (2) years in a healthcare setting. Or Ten (10) years experience in Facilities maintenance, construction management, or applicable trade; two (2) of which must be in a supervisory/leadership role
  • Journeyman license or equivalent in any trade, HVAC is a plus
