- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and create work instructions - documentation of processes/activities.
<\/li><\/span>- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
<\/li>- Lead change management activities and drive implementation of the same.
<\/li><\/span>- Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
<\/li>- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring junior engineers.
<\/li>- Work with offshore team for Manufacturing Process Simulation.<\/li>
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing facility and processes.
<\/li><\/span>- Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices.
<\/li><\/span>- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
<\/li><\/span>- Identify and implement new technologies, specification of requirements, Capex justification, planning and implementation.
<\/li><\/span>- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
- Bachelor's degree from four -year college or university in mechanical engineering and five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
<\/li><\/span>- Prior experience in manufacturing & assembly environment.
<\/li><\/span>- Demonstrated process improvement projects and outcomes.
<\/li><\/span>- Ability to work well under pressure
<\/li><\/span>- Teamwork skills
<\/li><\/span>- Problem -solving skills
<\/li><\/span>- Good information technology skills
<\/li><\/span>- Commercial awareness
