Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and create work instructions - documentation of processes/activities. <\/li><\/span>
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. <\/li>
Lead change management activities and drive implementation of the same. <\/li><\/span>
Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. <\/li>
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring junior engineers. <\/li>
Work with offshore team for Manufacturing Process Simulation.<\/li>
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing facility and processes. <\/li><\/span>
Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices. <\/li><\/span>
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. <\/li><\/span>
Identify and implement new technologies, specification of requirements, Capex justification, planning and implementation. <\/li><\/span>
Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. <\/li><\/span><\/ul>

Requirements<\/h3>
Bachelor's degree from four -year college or university in mechanical engineering and five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. <\/li><\/span>
Prior experience in manufacturing & assembly environment. <\/li><\/span>
Demonstrated process improvement projects and outcomes. <\/li><\/span>
Ability to work well under pressure <\/li><\/span>
